Manchester United Reach Rojo Agreement

Manchester United have reached an agreement for their third deal of the transfer window with the capture of Sporting Lisbon defender Marcos Rojo for a fee of £16 million.

The deal also sees Portuguese winger Nani heading in the opposite direction on a season long loan 7 years after leaving Lisbon for Old Trafford.

The Argentine defender, who has seen his stock rise since his impressive World Cup will bolster United manager Louis Van Gaal’s defensive options which look vulnerable during the opening day defeat to Swansea.
